Week #100 3 Nephi 11

This week was a blast. We went on two exchanges, one in Graz and the other in Wien 1. I learned a lot from my fellow missionaries this week and I am going to miss their company when I leave. We also had some other interesting experiences such as:

1. We were taken to TGI Fridays this week with a member and Elder Parker, being the legend that he is, was able to strike up a conversation with our waiter and got his number! You never know who might be interested

2. Elder Parker showed his talents again this week as he texted a lot of old potentials and found someone who wanted to meet! Her name was Simone and she shared how she thought how our discussion might help her make a very important life decision. That was pretty cool to see her show her faith in a small way

3. We met with Viktor again but this time in his home. We got to meet his family and we read 3 Nephi 11 together as the topic of the lesson. We discussed the role of Christ in the Book of Mormon and the importance of baptism. Viktor said yes to a baptismal invitation for August 10th!

4. We met with our friend Wilson again and discussed how we can recognize the Spirit. He has already noticed that he wanted more for a church and we helped him see how the Spirit was prompting him to go look. He told us in the lesson, "I do not know if it was God or destiny or coincidence but I am glad you guys stopped me."

5. We were able to have 2 sit down lessons yesterday and both people became new friends of the church! It went quick but it turned out to be good moments for both of them to take a minute to learn more about Christ.

That is how lots of weeks on the mission are like. So many cool experiences to share the Gospel! The Lord is aware of who needs help and who is ready. The mission is something I will always be grateful for.
