Week #77 Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
Wow this week went by so quick. One moment I was talking to my family. The next I was working. And then the next I am here writing you again. Time on the mission is so weird but also kind of cool to experience.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as theworld giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

We had a pretty good week this week. Sadly none of our 4 friends came to church for the second time. It is starting to snow a lot more and the temperatures are dropping but life is still good. We have done a bit finding and we had a few member appointments as well.
Snowy day at the market
We got to meet with Matthais again after a break for a couple of weeks. He is very engaged in the conversations and he might come to church this Sunday. I will follow up on that next week.
To be honest, not a lot happened this week other than what I said earlier. We are trying to do our best and the rest is in the Lord's Hands. One cool thought I had this week was from Elder Holland. I was reading a talk he gave at BYU and he points out that the Savior gives a commandment in John 14 that we often forget.

I remember there were sometimes at the start of my mission where my heart was a little more than troubled or afraid but I put my hope in God that things would be alright. I love the title Jesus Christ has which is "High Priest of Good things to come." At the start of a new year, we may wonder what is in store. We may wonder where we could be at the start of the next new year but as we live in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it will be ok. I wish I kept that thought with me more often as I started my mission, that if I stayed true to God, things would be just fine. It would not be easy but God would see me through. I hope that gives you a little bit of hope with your resolutions and thoughts for the future. Don't be troubled. Don't be afraid but believe in the good things that God has promised you.
I love you guys! Have a good week!
