Week #71 The Cold Is Upon Us!

Yeah it got colder this week. This fall was so good! And even thought it is cold, it is not terrible yet. We actually went on a hike in the mountains today and it was not too bad towards the end. It was a bit cold in the morning. 

We had a pretty good week I would say. We did a lot of finding, just trying to show the Lord that we are willing to do our part. We met a cool girl from Brazil yesterday who might come to church on Sunday. She is one of the most religious people I have met in awhile. Way cool to meet people like that every so often. 

We met our friend John this week too

 He keeps meeting but he is not very committed to read or pray. Very cool guy though. Might come to church one of these days:) 

We brought out the bike again and it was cold! Very windy and sadly our spot was in the shade. Our bishop came though and started handing out Books of Mormon left and right. We had great members in this ward! 

We also had a cool service opportunity this week. There was an exchange market hosted by our ward on Saturday. It was way cool. People brought in stuff they did not need anymore and they took whatever they wanted. They came into the church and started asking questions. It was awesome. Over 150 people came and there was lots of stuff in the gym leftover. I got a new tie and a side bag so that is cool. 

In church this week, I sang a duet with a member. We sang "I stand all Amazed" in German. Luckily it was just the hymnbook and not a crazy arrangement

 Music is such an incredible gift God gives us. Just another beautiful way to praise God! 

We also got transfer calls. I am staying with Elder Gates which I am excited for. We are also going to have Sisters here too with our Senior couple. It is going to be awesome! I also get to be district leader so that is exciting. This transfer went by way quick though...

Well onto another week and a new transfer! I am excited to see what the Lord has in store! Have another great week! Love you!
